Meet the Owner

I’m Chris Reed, Owner of Creed Safety Consulting. I earned my CDL in 2003 and began my safety career in DOT transportation working behind the wheel rather than in an office. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of the operational pressures drivers and field crews face every day. From there I advanced into leadership roles overseeing trucking operations, managing fleet compliance, driver performance, Hours of Service, and FMCSA accountability.

In 2013, I transitioned into the oil and gas industry where I started in field operations and progressed into HSE leadership. Over the years I’ve led multi-site HSE programs, managed OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance, conducted field audits and incident investigations, while training and mentoring hundreds of workers. I’ve also partnered closely with operations leaders to build safety systems that function in real working environments, not just on paper.

Through Creed Safety Consulting, I work directly with both management and field personnel to strengthen communication, reinforce accountability, and ensure safety programs are practical for the people doing the work. My focus is closing the gap between written policy and field execution so companies can maintain compliance while keeping operations productive.

I help companies reduce risk exposure, strengthen safety culture, and build safety systems that work in real-world operations. My approach is straightforward and grounded in experience. I’ve worked behind the wheel, worked in the field, and led from the front.
